One of my preferred methods to dupe great-looking skin is to layer dewy, light foundations over pigmented concealers.

My least preferred thing about these dewy foundations? applying powder afterward…for sure! I can’t count the number of days I’ve gone from hero to zero since of a cakey setting powder. When I saw that MAC was bringing a limited-edition extension to the Mineralize Skinfinish range, frequently referred to as the MSFs, I was a lot more than ecstatic to run my fingers across those velvety domes.

Available in a variety of textures, the new Mineralize Skinfinish Naturals ($32) separate their pigments into quadrants so you can mix your own intensity. These powders have the capability to be a powder without looking or feeling as well dry. I appreciate having a powder choice that wishes to works with, as well as not against, the luminescence of skin.

The 5 new shades

Nuanced: A pale increased gold. this has a strong sheen plus visible pink glitters. It’s rather dramatic!

Faintly Fabulous: champagne peach. It has a great structure that brightens without glitter. this is my preferred since it’s impossible to apply as well much.

Perfectly Lit: medium coral with hints of brown. this is extremely pigmented with visible gold as well as coral glitters. It makes a great choice for a pigmented blush.

Sunny Side: Tan. similar in structure to Faintly Fabulous, it provides a great sheen to skin without glitter.

Enhanced: Warm brown. Impressively pigmented, however drier as well. this doesn’t apply to my skin as evenly as the others do.

(Is this not an amazing band-name…)

Interestingly, I discovered that a few of these powders are indicated for blush as well as contouring, while others are indicated to dust across the face. There’s a great deal of space to play in this collection, as well as I’d like to understand your thoughts. have you chosen up any type of of these, or do you plan to?
